Hi, Hope this helps you. Ok... this is probably not true. This website is probably a type of spyware which we called a IE homepage hi-jacker. It takes over your homepage. If you cannot change it or are worried that you have spyware you should try a spyware remover. Good ones include Ad-Aware (www.lavasoft.com) Spybot-Search and Destroy, this one is O.K. You can also get antivirus software like Avg Antivirus.(www.grisoft.com) To protect from hackers the best firewall is Zonelabs. Super good and Easy to use!

Hope this helps!

P.S-All this software is free and made by reliable companies.

1) I think you should try to check your security:

From IE / tools /Internet options and check

your security set up.

2) Check your pop-up blocker.

Good luck

its probably because thier blocked!
the problem is IE ,and microsoft refuses to admit it , and they will probally never fix their issues , atleast for a year or so ,of everyone sending them complaints ,about the same issue , just maybee they should hire some of apple's techs to solve their problems , I think then we would all be better off .

Run HijackThis again and place a check beside each of the following items. Once done click the fix checked button.

Download about:Buster from either of the following locations.

or

http://tools.zerosrealm.com/AboutBuster....

Make sure you have printed this page and close ALL Internet Explorer windows. This is a very important step!!

Run AboutBuster.exe, click ok, then start, then OK. Make a copy of the log once it finishes. Then run aboutbuster.exe again. Make a copy of that log.

Reboot and post a new HijackThis log along with the two reports from about:Buster.

How do I do a search that only searches for complete combinations (ie. a first and last not seperate

I don't want to get hits for the name seperated (ie. Bob Smith hits only, not hits with Bob and Smith referred to seperately

How do I do a search that only searches for complete combinations (ie. a first and last not seperated?internet explorer 6

Try these babies for size

"Bob Smith"

The quotations will only produce the phrase, not it separated, at least as the first lot of searches. If not, try advanced search on almost any search engine (particularly Google or Yahoo!) and search in the exact phrase category

How do I do a search that only searches for complete combinations (ie. a first and last not seperated?windows live internet explorer

Use quotes around your search. " Steve is cool".
when searching on the internet and searching on the search engines( like yahoo or google)put pluses in between the words. like to say if u were to search shark food, on google or whatever u are searching on, put shark + food.

i hope that helps u alot!!!
If you want to search the two words together than you have put those words in inverted commas like "Bob Smith", it will show you the list of all Bob smith.

Contact Yahoo! Customer Care:

I used to be able to right-click and get Open In New Tab -- using Yahoo! Toolbar and IE6.

That is missing now, and is a bug.

I've contacted Customer Care. You can let them know too:

Is there a way -- in either Firefox or IE -- to tell the browser to continuously refresh a page?

I know some sites, like Yahoo! Sports box scores during live games, do it automatically - but is there any way to set IE or Firefox to do that on its own to any page?

YRefresher will do that for you in IE.

The Firefox add-on 'ReloadEvery' would do it as well.

Search their website for it, it's very easy.

Internet Explorer keeps mucking up Firefox. I can't delete or uninstall IE. Help?

How can I a) delete or remove Internet Explorer, b) prevent IE from running, or c) make Firefox able to withstand the assault? Any help appreciated!

Internet Explorer keeps mucking up Firefox. I can't delete or uninstall IE. Help?internet explorer update

Internet Explorer and Microsoft are like brother and sister, and they can't really be separated, but. . . . If u install a very useful program called "Ccleaner" you can specifically get rid of IE, go to download.com and search the program and read about it, if you're a little uncomfortable.

Internet Explorer keeps mucking up Firefox. I can't delete or uninstall IE. Help?web browser internet explorer

What happens, only IE%26amp; can be uninstalled, all the others are vital for operation of Windows.
What muck are you talking about
Both browsers are setup to check to make themselves the default browser every time they are started. I am almost 100% sure you can disable this question by means of a checkbox in the same dialog box where you are prompted for this upon starting the browser.

As for uninstalling IE, I am not familiar with any non-hacking-related practices to do this. Simply don't use it, if you don't want to. :)

Best of luck!
What exactly is IE doing to keep mucking up Firefox?

If it's changing the default browser then that's not a big issue, simply change IE's preferences so that it stops checking if it's the default browser. End of problem.

If it's something else, you'll need to be far more specific and provide more information (such as what version of Windows) for anyone to be of assistance because while IE may be a pain, it is deeply integrated into the latest versions of Windows and required for some programs to operate as they are hardcoded to look for IE.
