I am afraid to change to IE 7.0 because the last change deleted my "INBOX." I need a solut

The last upgrade deleted my "INBOX" and Nobody could retrieve its contents for me. Trying to retrieve the files with Norton and dbx files did not work. Anyone out there have a reassurance that upgrading to IE 7.0 will not "eat" my inbox?

I don't like IE7. I'm staying with the older version.

IE 7 is a web browser, not an email program. It shouldn't effect your 'INBOX'. Perhaps you're thinking about outlook or outlook express being upgraded.
Can't be positive, but you should always do a complete ntbackup before upgrading anything.
Upgrading to IE 7.0 did not eat my Outlook Express inbox.

If you are unsure, you may want to use Mozilla Firefox instead of IE. See: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
If it isn't broken why would you want to fix it. I tried IE7 and it was real bad I like my IE6. I'm going to keep it for a while. "PEACE"
Try out firefox first. If you like it, make it your default browser and forget about IE.

You will still need a version of IE however to manually check microsoft.com for XP updates
