How do set my preferred internet browser to IE?

It was set to Ie then I installedMozilla Firefox and changed it, but I don't know how to change it back!

Open IE, click on tools, then internet options. Go to programs tab. At the bottom you will see a radial box that says IE should check to see if it is the default browser. Once you check that, the next time you open IE it should tell you that it is not your default browser, and ask if you would like to set it as default browser.
