Why dont employers treat others as they would expect to treat them... Ie what about their bad attiud

Why is ok for employers to use spy camera, spy of computer use etc etc... But an offence for the employees do the same?

Why is it ok for employers to attack employee relationships but not ok for said employees to destroy their marraige...

If an employer an sack an employee for what they consider bad attiude ie they fight back when attacked and dont kiss their butt.

Why can't an emplyee do the same...

Fairness and justice?

if an employer wants a good attiude should they not be a mentor...

Know the job so well people come to them for help and ask what to do hence being the leader.

Who looks after and protects staff, who if sees young stuff liking each other acts as match maker.

Who sees potential and develops it.

Who is the hero and mentor to their staff.

Why do employers think they dont have to earn respect and a good attiude just as much as their employees?

Yea, basically what "heyho B" said, it all comes down to pay. First off they wouldn’t have to waste so much money on cameras and other devices if they just paid their employees better. Than the employees would enjoy coming to work more then before, because they wont have to worry about having some one breath down their neck. It mostly due to bad management practices, some managers still try to apply the “Old Factory” style management. But that just doesn’t work anymore, research and studies show that managers would have to worry less about there employees slacking off if they just tried to understand what their employees needs are. But though pay really doesn’t affect performance as much as other things would .

Basicly because to the employer were only a payroll numbers that's all it comes down too.

You will never understand till you become an employer yourself - I know what you mean I was a worker too we all skive etc.... But being an employer is so stressful its unbearable at times.. You are not just their employer - when they are at your business - you are their Mum,Dad,Doctor,Lawyer,Nanny - if anything happens to them on your premises Jesus !! you are responsible. And you are constantly thinking about ￡￡$$$$ - productivity - if you were the owner and you seen someone downing tools - believe me your heart starts racing and you start thinking about your Purse/Wallet. Most times with employers it is Red Mist - the anger of the moment - I look after my staff - and in return they work well for me ..
your pay packet comes from your employer....you can anytime leave if you are not happy, right?
